Our iCanBike Camp is a transformative, week-long annual program where individuals with disabilities learn the life-changing skill of independently riding a two-wheeled bicycle. Learning to ride a bike builds confidence, promotes physical health, and offers a newfound sense of freedom and mobility. Through generous community donations, we are able to keep tuition affordable for every participant, ensuring financial constraints never stand in the way of achieving this incredible milestone.
Autism Training and support for EMS and Local Businesses
We provide free autism training and sensory kits to Boulder County Police, EMS, local businesses, and non-profits to build a safer, more inclusive community. Sensory bags—equipped with tools to help de-escalate anxiety and sensory overload during emergencies or public outings—are essential for the health, safety, and well-being of autistic individuals. Your financial support directly funds the creation and distribution of these crucial sensory kits, allowing us to equip first responders and local organizations with the resources and knowledge needed to support our community effectively.
Family Camping and Rafting Trip
Our Family Camping and Rafting Trip gives local families the chance to step outside, experience nature, and try something new together. Partnering with the National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD), we ensure the entire experience is safe, fully accessible, and autism-friendly. Through generous community donations, we keep participation costs deeply subsidized, making this unforgettable outdoor adventure affordable for families who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate.
Free Makerspace Memberships
Through our partnership with TinkerMill, we provide free makerspace memberships and help cover the cost of classes and skill-building for families, autistic adults, and autistic senior citizens. Makerspaces offer far more than just a creative outlet—they provide a welcoming community where individuals can learn new hobbies, gain valuable technical skills, start small businesses, and build meaningful social connections. Our Autistic Adult Support Groups offer a free, dedicated space to connect, share experiences, and navigate the unique challenges of living in Boulder County with a disability. These autistic professional led sessions give adults on the spectrum a supportive place to discuss key life topics—including independent living, finances, dating, friendships, career pathways, family dynamics, and growing up autistic. As demand grows, your donations allow us to keep these vital meetings free and expand our offerings to include specialized groups, such as support for couples on the spectrum.
