Kimel Psychological Services, LLC

Kimel Psychological Services, LLC is a small group private practice in Southeast Denver that is run by Dr. Lila Kimel.  Dr. Kimel is a Colorado-licensed clinical psychologist who for over 20 years has worked with children- preschool through young adulthood- confronted by developmental, learning, and emotional challenges. Dr. Kimel performs psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations, provides guidance for parents, and consults with educators and schools regarding how to best facilitate the development of children. Her areas of expertise include autism spectrum disorders, nonverbal learning disorders, reading problems/dyslexia, executive functioning deficits, and ADHD, as well as neurological and genetic disorders that impact behavior and learning.  In addition to psychological evaluations, Dr. Kimel provides psycho-legal consultation in cases related to individuals with developmental disabilities that are involved in the legal system.  Dr. Kimel also provides psychotherapy services for children to adults with developmental disabilities, conducting individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
