ASBC "Give Me a Break" Respite Fund

The Autism Society of Boulder County's "Give Me A Break" respite fund is intended to provide respite funds for families and persons with autism. These funds may be used for any application appropriate to your situation, for example, hiring someone to care for the person with autism so family members can go out to dinner, see a movie or attend social functions. Persons with autism could use the awarded funds to hire someone to accompany them to their choice of activities. One $150.00 grant will be awarded quarterly and only one grant may be awarded per family each year. The availability of the quarterly respite fund is contingent upon the continued success of ASBC’s Annual Conference and Wine Tasting Event.

The first Autism Society of Boulder County Respite Fund award was made in 2004.
