ASBC Grants

ASBC Family Respite Fund

The Autism Society of Boulder County’s “Family Respite Fund” is intended to support families of persons with autism. These families shoulder tremendous responsibility for therapies and round-the-clock care, and such demands can be overwhelming. The ASBC hopes that by granting annual respite awards of $300, families affected by autism can do what most other families take for granted — hire a qualified caregiver, go out to dinner, see a movie or attend a social function. To apply for the grant, please send details of your situation, including your name and address, to info@autismboulder.org.

ASBC Send a Kid to Camp Fund

Introduced in 2011, this fund was set up in response to the many requests for financial support to defray camp costs. Many families see the benefit of sending a son or daughter to therapeutic summer camps, but such programs generally have big price tags. And on top of camp fees, many families need to travel out of town or out of state with their child in order to participate, incurring travel and lodging expenses. The ASBC has set up the “Send a Kid to Camp Fund” in order to grant up to ten families* $300 each to defray summer camp costs. To apply for the grant, please send details of your situation, including your name and address, to info@autismboulder.org
