Thank you to all the families that attended the 2008 ASBC Family Respite Picnic and made it such a huge success.
We had a turnout of approximately 60 parents and children this year at Louisville’s Community Park.
This proved to be a lovely venue for our families to get together and share each other’s company.
Thank you to our sponsors Google and Whole Foods for their generous donations that contributed to the success of our event.
Also, a special thanks to Emmy Conroy and her GFCF support group for donating a variety of delicious GFCF dessert options along with hamburger and hot dog buns for our members.
They also managed the cookie decorating table which was a fun activity for our kids and adults too!
Bob Matter assisted by his wife, from Assisted Cycling was a special guest this year along with Colleen Fitzgerald from the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation EXPAND program.
Bob’s group shared many cycling options for our families and let us attempt the tandem bicycles in the park. Colleen shared information about special programs available to our families through the Boulder Parks and Recreation Program.
Thank you to everyone who participated and attended. What a fun way to share information and expand our community!
