Those are our guiding principles as we form our annual goals for ASBC fundraising events. ASBC provides autism education and awareness in Northern Colorado throughout this year's events as stated in our Mission and Vision. Fundraising events are held in the spring and the fall. April is National Autism Awareness Month (NAAM) and ASBC celebrates with an art show. The "Through My Eyes" art show highlights the talents and abilities of individuals affected by ASD in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. The ASBC Family Picnic celebrates family and gives some much needed respite through a community picnic. Look for this year's upcoming events as well as our archive of events through these pages. ASBC Wine Tasting & Silent AuctionThe 7th Annual ASBC Wine & Cheese Tasting & Silent Auction will be held during National Autism Awareness Month (NAAM) on April 16th, 2010 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder. The Wine and Cheese Tasting will be from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. The Silent Auction will be from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm. We look forward to having 97.3 KBCO's Morning Personality, Bret Saunders as our emcee supporting this fundraiser. Centennial Wine & Spirits, World Class Rock 97.3 KBCO, Google Sketchup, Gordon Biersch, the Boulder Weekly, the Daily Camera, and Boulder Community Hospital are sponsoring this event. Our "Though My Eyes" Art Show featuring the works of our young ASD artists will be on display during this event and throughout the month in various locations in Boulder and Broomfield counties. Proceeds from this event are used to fund a number of programs organized and presented by the Autism Society of Boulder County including:
The 6th Annual ASBC Wine & Cheese Tasting & Silent Auction was held on April 17th, 2009 at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder. 97.3 KBCO's Morning Personality, Bret Saunders was our emcee for his fifth year supporting this fundraiser. Centennial Wine & Spirits, 97.3 KBCO, and Boulder Weekly sponsored the event. Special thanks to Jim Barbour Photography for recording the event in pictures. Our "Though My Eyes" Art Show featuring the works of our young ASD artists was on display during this event. The 5th Annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction was held during National Autism Awareness Month (NAAM) on April 18th, 2008 at the Boulder Broker Inn. Centennial Wine & Spirits, 97.3 KBCO and the Boulder Broker Inn sponsored this event. Our "Though My Eyes" Art Show featuring the works of our young ASD artists was on display during this event and throughout the month in various locations in Boulder and Broomfield counties. Our 2008 event raised approximately $11,370 and a report and pictures can be seen at National Autism Awareness Month. ASBC thanks you for your help! ASBC Annual Family PicnicThe ASBC organizes an annual family picnic for our community. The 7th Annual Family Picnic will be held on May 15th, 2010. The location and other details at to be announced.
