Support Meetings

These are social outlets to be sure, but also where the exchange may be more problem/solution oriented. Coffee and breakfast groups are an excellent way to connect with others and discover new therapeutic pathways and recommended providers.

  • Longmont Coffee Group: Generally meets up the second Tuesday of every month, from 9:30-11 a.m. Grab a cup of coffee at Vic’s (free to ASBC that morning), then head over for some lively conversation at The Longmont Fire Station #5, 617 Barberry Drive, Longmont (in the Meadow View Shopping Center) (map).   • East County Coffee Group: One Monday each month from noon to 1 p.m., at the YMCA of Boulder Valley Arapahoe Center, 2800 Dagny Way, Lafayette (map).   • HFA/Asperger’s Young Adults Transitioning into the Workforce: Fourth Saturday of each month, from 1-3 p.m. Facilitated by Kristen Erby, a social worker specializing in support, advocacy and training for those with developmental disabilities, the group meets at the ACL, 5744 N. 71st St., in Gunbarrel (Boulder) (map).
