With Gratitude from ASBC!

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into home, a stranger into a friend." -Melody Beattie
As the last of the warm weather washes over us the Autism Society of Boulder County would like to take the time to thank the many people who have volunteered to enrich the lives of people with Autism and their families over the past year. Without our amazing volunteers ASBC would not exist. Through the generous donation of their time many people have pulled together to create successful fundraising events, including our Annual Wine Tasting and Jack’s Benevolent Bash. These events created opportunities for families and people on the spectrum to participate in the I Can Shine Bike Clinic, the Multi-Family Rafting Trip, Support Groups for Parents, Siblings and Adults on the Spectrum, Open Gym at Airborne Gymnastics, Lecture Series on Autism and Education, Job Club, iStar, the Autism Society of America National Conference and much more. The impact of our volunteers reaches far and wide and we could not be more grateful.
ASBC has not always had the capacity to express our appreciation for all of the people who do so much for us. Our goal this year is to prioritize our efforts to say “Thank You!” as much as we can, whenever we can, in real time. We are lucky to have our volunteers and we know it. We will do better at telling everyone how much we appreciate them.
Our first effort, as we close this post, is to thank our board members who have moved on from the board into other helping roles in the past 12 months. Know that your work creates a difference in people’s lives every day. We cannot thank you enough.
With deep gratitude for your service-
