Parents of students receiving special education services through Boulder Valley School District are invited to attend this forum, during which administrators will review the basics of accessing services and answer your questions. The panel will include members of the BVSD Special Education team--Michelle Brenner, Director of Elementary and K8 Special Education; Scott Sparks, Director of Secondary Special Education; and Dennis Rastatter, Director of Special Education, Transitions--as well as representative from the Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Imagine!, and the Association for Community Living.

Please submit your questions to us in advance--no later than 
Tuesday, September 29--so we can use our time efficiently and so the panelists can come prepared with information that's important and relevant to the audience.. Questions can also be submitted anonymously on index cards during the forum. The team will answer general questions about Special Education services but will not be able to address concerns regarding specific students. We will offer a separate opportunity in the coming months for questions about individual circumstances.
