ASBC Co-hosts Free Lecture Series on Advocacy and Public Policy    Do you wish you were better informed about legislative and other issues facing the autism community? Do you want to learn more about how the state and federal government work? Do you understand what healthcare reform means for you and your family?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you’re not alone. Many people want to know what’s going on at the Capitol but don’t have the time to head downtown to Denver every time a bill is introduced.

The Autism Society of Colorado, Imagine! Behavioral Health Services, and the Autism Society of Boulder County are offering a four-part educational series on Advocacy and Understanding Public Policy (dates: February 26 and March 5, 12 and 19) to engage self-advocates, parents, and other members of the community. During each presentation, attendees will expand their knowledge of a complex and often overwhelming system.

Please click on "Calendar" on the ASBC home page, then on the dates listed above, for details about each presentation.
