Dazzled By Your Generosity!

Another ASBC Grapes for Good Wine Tasting has come and gone. We are once again humbled by the support of this community. There are no words to describe our gratitude for your kindness and generosity.

The past few days have been filled with congratulations and compliments for Grapes for Good. People have texted and emailed how impressed they were with the quality of our auction items and descriptions of how much fun everyone had. None of these things would have been possible without the hard work and leadership of our Fundraising Committee Co-Chairs John and Jill Sheldon.

The Sheldon's pour their hearts and souls into this event every year and this year was no different. John Sheldon has a vision for Grapes for Good that is truly elevated. His unwavering belief in what ASBC accomplishes for Boulder County is reflected in how he leads the committee to aim higher and expect amazing results. The word is, he's also a pretty good bar tender. Jill Sheldon worked tirelessly behind the scenes both before and during the event. She made sure the mission and work of ASBC was clear to everyone who attended via her posters, slides and auction descriptions, while simultaneously ensuring each guest had the best experience possible via the games, food, desert and design of the room. All of this of course being done while she graciously greeted guests and made connections. John and Jill Sheldon have given us a tremendous gift in form of yet another fantastic successful event. The Autism Society of Boulder County can never thank them enough.

As John always reminds us, "We are a team!" Indeed, we are. We would like to thank the dedicated members of the Fundraising Committee who gave their time, energy and hard work to make this event a success:

David Grimsland        Julie Darrow

Ingrid Julyk                 Karen Zeid

Allen Richardson        Natalia Mendiola

Lynn Wysolmierski     Emmy Conroy

Thank you all so much for your hard work!

As the 15th annual Grapes for Good ASBC Wine Tasting Fundraiser enters the books we are filled with gratitude for the generosity of everyone who participated this year. We look forward to turning the fantastic results of this event into as many opportunities as possible for families and people on the autism spectrum for the rest of the year. From the bottom of our hearts… Thank you!
