ASBC Hosts Fun and Inexpensive Outings This Summer


The Autism Society of Boulder County is pleased to offer to families in our service area a number of recreational events this summer that are either free or significantly discounted.

In addition to the free Open Gym at Airborne Gymnastics each month, ASBC is also sponsoring the following events:
 

Gateway Fun Park Event


When:  Sunday, July 14, 11 am to 1 pm

Where: 4800 N. 28th St., Boulder

Cost: $5 per participant, for four activities of his/her choosing (no cost to parents assisting their child with an activity)

Some of the activities to choose from are Go-Karts (those with double seats, single seats, and kiddie karts), 18-hole miniature golf, arcade games (20 tokens = one activity), a batting cage, and a maze race. 

ASBC has reserved the Picnic Pavilion, located just outside the arcade. Families will be allowed to bring in their own food but may NOT order food to be delivered to Gateway.

This event is open to families who have children of any age affected by ASD, as well as their siblings.

Indoor Zip Lines and Rock Climbing at Mid-Air Adventures

When:  Sunday, July 21, 3:30-5 pm

Where:  9499 Washington St., Suite 100, Thornton

Cost:  $5 per participant (no cost to parents who need to wear a harness to assist their child on the zip lines)

This event is open to families who have children of any age affected by ASD, as well as their siblings.

FREE Family Bowling Event

When:  Sunday, July 28, 1-3 pm

Where:  CU Connection, inside the University Memorial Center (UMC) Building,
1669 Euclid Ave. (corner of Broadway and Euclid), Boulder
http://umc.colorado.edu

Cost:  FREE

We have all available lanes reserved, but SPACE IS LIMITED!

This event is open to families who have children of any age affected by ASD, as well as their siblings.
