The School to Work Alliance Program (SWAP) is a year round jobs program for students and
young adults (15-24) with mild to moderate disabilities. SWAP equips their clients with job seeking skills
(to obtain employment) and job keeping skills (to maintain employment). Each high school has a
SWAP Staff member assigned to it that coordinates referrals and services with the Special
Education team. Eligibility for SWAP is determined by the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
(DVR) based on an IEP, 504 Plan, or suspected disability.
Services include:
 Job Exploration Counseling
 Work Based Learning Experiences
 Workplace Readiness Training
 Self-Advocacy Instruction
 Post-Secondary Counseling/Exploration
 Job Development/Placement
 Employment-related instruction: completing applications, resume development, interviewing, etc.
 Case Management

Childcare will be provided in the YMCA Childwatch Center. If you have questions about ages and accommodations, please call them at (303) 776-0370. Panera sandwiches will be provided to all attendees who RSVP. Hope to see you there!
